Where I've been...

Mon Aug 25, 2008, 5:27 PM
Well a few people might want to know why I've been inactive in the past three weeks. I was out in the great Southwest! My family got it into their heads that they wanted to CAMP in the DRY HEAT. Ugggghhhh. but I think that part came later...

Here is a complete list of where I went so I don't have to explain it fifty-million-times.

We flew into Phoenix and then rented a car and hauled our luggage tooooo (in order):

- Canyon de Chey, Arizona
- Mesa Verde, Colorado
- the San Juan Mountains, Colorado
- Pegosa Springs, Colorado
- Silverton/Ouray/Telluride, Colorado
- Escalante, Utah
- Moab (Arches National Park), Utah
- Bryce Canyon, Utah
- Grande Canyon (North Rim), Arizona
- Sedona, Arizona

Then back to Phoenix for the return trip. The whole shebang took three weeks.

  • Mood: Enjoying The Show
  • Listening to: My sister and her crazy friends
  • Reading: The 1st Harry Potter Book (again)

lol! Sounds horrible! Was it at least worth seeing?

War doesn't determine who's right. War determines who's left.
:iconladygiraffe:
definitely, just the side effects of seeing it that were the main problemo. the dunes were beautiful, and we were the only ones there, so it made you think you were really in the desert. of course, the only reason we were alone was because we were the only ones stupid enough to go in over-a-hundred degree heat, but whatever.

We're they the petrified dunes? Because I think I saw a sign for it.
