Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! I know I have a lot to be thankful for (which I won't get into now but I do have some) and I hope everyone will have a really good day.

So, we're watching the Parade and peeling apples. Later we're going to a friend's house to celebrate the arrival of the not-so-directionally-functional Pilgrims and their *cough* friends, the natives of America.

One disturbing fact while you sit and eat your bagels, when we turned on the TV this morning there was a thanksgiving cooking show on (that's not the scary part ) and there was one of those "news strips" at the bottom. Apparently, Al Qaeda issued a threat of suicide bombers in New York at the Parade. So there's increasing security and SWAT peeps everywhere.
